The 2023 BMW X7 is expected to make its global debut soon
BMW is expected to reveal its refreshed X7 soon but an image supposedly of the model year 2023 (MY23) version of the luxury SUV has already surfaced online.
For now, the legitimacy of the leak cannot be confirmed. But, the image does look like one we’ve come to expect from BMW’s official media catalogue for a while now.
Up front, the 2023 BMW X7 in the image has a split light setup. The DRLs sit atop the main lights and they flank the rather large radiator grille from either side.
Below the gopping grille is a small air dam that is surrounded by various cuts and creases in the rather busy-looking bumper. There are even vertical vents that are situated just below the headlights.
Along the sides, the 2023 BMW X7 does not seem to sport any changes, barring a set of different alloy wheels. The leaked photo does not show the luxury SUV’s backside. But mild tweaks to the car’s rear section can be expected.
However, no notable changes are likely to be seen while stepping inside the cabin or while stepping on the accelerator pedal. The German marque should keep the current powertrains as is.
In India, where the X7 costs between Rs. 1.07 crore and Rs. 1.74 crore (ex-showroom), BMW will introduce the updated SUV with the same 3.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a couple of 3.0-litre turbodiesel options after launching it in developed markets.
The car will primarily rival the Mercedes-Benz GLS, Audi Q7 and the Volvo XC90 in the Indian market and its front end design is set to be seen in several upcoming cars from BMW.
