The asking price of the 2022 BMW X3 diesel is less than the top petrol model’s cost
BMW has launched the diesel variant of the 2022 X3 at an introductory price of Rs. 65.50 lakhs (ex-showroom), today in India. This new variant will sit alongside the 2 existing petrol grades.
Available only in a single xDrive 20d Luxury Edition grade, the 2022 X3 diesel is available in colourways such as Black Sapphire, Mineral White, Phytonic Blue and Sophisto Grey.
The car has exterior features such as adaptive LED headlights, LED DRLs, indicators, fog lamps and taillights, 19-inch alloy wheels, electrically foldable ORVMs with auto-dimming feature and more.
Inside, the car is offered with Sensatec perforated upholstery in Canberra Beige and Cognac options. It also has a sport leather steering wheel and fine-wood oak dark high-gloss interior trim with pearl chrome trim finisher.
For the price, 2022 BMW X3 diesel comes with features such as 12.3-inch digital cluster, 12.3-inch touchscreen, 3-zone auto air-con, panorama glass roof, paddle shifters, cruise control with braking function, 3 drive modes, ambient lighting, welcome light carpet, automatic tailgate operation and more, along with a whole lost of safety tech.
Power comes from a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine, that makes 188 BHP and 400 Nm of torque. It is teamed to an 8-speed automatic transmission that works with a 4-wheel drive system. The X3 diesel completes the 0-100 km/hr sprint in 7.9 seconds and can hit a top speed of 213 km/hr.
