Jawa Cruiser Testing Variants
Could this be the bike that takes Jawa to a new high in India?

The Jawa cruiser seen testing recently looks very much ready to be mass produced

Jawa is currently testing a cruiser motorcycle which is expected to be launched in the market sometime next year. The fourth product of the 2-wheeler brand owned by Classic Legends is said to be based on its Perak motorcycle.

Two different versions of the upcoming Jawa cruiser have been spotted on test. One has lots of bling, while the other features blacked componentry throughout.

The design language of this motorcycle is unmistakably Jawa. Its circular headlight and rear-view mirrors, shapely fuel tank, wide and well-padded split seat, simple side panels and wide rear fender give it its own charm.

It also comes with twin exhaust pipes, alloy wheels, telescopic suspension up front, twin shock absorbers in the back and a disc brake at each end.

One of the development mules of the Jawa cruiser also had fork gaiters and a crash guard, while both had a blacked powertrain and a small flyscreen.

Jawa Cruiser Testing
Classic Legends should also improve its after-sales service standards

As per these images, the riding position of the upcoming Jawa cruiser will be upright, with the handlebar and foot pegs placed at optimal positions.

It is expected that the motorcycle will be powered by a 334cc, liquid-cooled engine good for 30.64 PS and 32.74 Nm of torque. The motor will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle is expected to come with dual channel ABS, full-LED lights, and an old school style instrument cluster which should have a small digital readout.

While the Jawa cruiser testing images are circulating online, Classic Legends is tight-lipped about the bike’s launch timeline. However, the brand is very much open about when the relaunch of the Yezdi brand will take place in India.

Scheduled for 13th January 2022, the resurrected bike manufacturer will come back with a bang and will sell at least 3 motorcycles here and they are – Roadking, a scrambler and an adventure bike.
