Two units of the KTM 390 Adventure Rally have been spied in India
KTM has been caught testing what looks like the ‘Rally’ variant of the 390 Adventure. Thus far 2 units of the new model have been spied.
This Rally variant of the 390 Adventure features the ‘face’ of a rally racer. The high-set headlight and visor look completely different to the current model.
Also, the digital dash and handlebar have been placed a touch higher, while the front end seems to have more wheel travel as well.
The rest of the motorcycle looks very similar to the regular 390 Adventure, save for the tyres, which are better suited to go off-road.
Expect the recently spied KTM 390 Adventure Rally to feature the same 373cc engine (43 BHP and 37 Nm) and 6-speed gearbox, with anti-hopping clutch, combination of the regular model.
It could come with tweaked electronics that would better suit its more hardcore demeanour. But, whether that happens will have to be seen.
KTM, which recently revealed the updated the 390 Adventure and 250 Adventure motorcycles globally, could take its sweet time to launch this model that should cost more than the 390 Adventure which is priced at Rs. 3.30 lakhs (ex-showroom).
For now, the Austrian brand is gearing up to introduce the new generation RC 390, unveiled globally in August, in the Indian market.
