The asking price of the 2022 Aprilia SR 160 is Rs. 4000/- more than the Race variant of the pre-facelift model
The 2022 Aprilia SR 160 has been launched today with a price tag of Rs. 1.17 lakh along with the updated SR 125 that is priced at Rs. 1.07 lakh (prices are ex-showroom, Pune).
Aprilia says the redesigned SR range “incorporates a new design language reflecting Italian design genesis” and is inspired by the RSV4 superbike.
Sporting RS-GP-inspired graphics in ‘Race’ trim, the scooters have a new LED headlight, LED position lights, a new 5.7-inch digital instrument display, hand guards (Race trim), new rear grab handle and carbon texture components.
Both models have a completely new front end design as well as a new seat and the new SR 160 range will be available in Blue, Grey, Matt Black, Red and White colours.
Powering the updated SR 160 is a 160cc, 3 valve engine good for 10.9 BHP at 7600 RPM and 11.6 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM. The SR 125 has a 125cc motor good for 9.8 BHP and 9.7 torques.
Riding on 14-inch alloy wheels, both scooters have a 6-litre fuel tank, 169 mm of road clearance, 11-litres of storage space and an USB port. While the SR 160 has ABS, the SR 125 makes do with CBS.
