Apart from opening the bookings of the 2022 Celerio, Maruti has also revealed the car’s interior
Maruti Suzuki has announced the commencement of bookings for the 2022 Celerio, today. The hatchback can be booked for a token amount of Rs. 11,000/-.
Customers can book the new generation Celerio, which comes with new styling inside and out, either online or at Maruti’s Arena showrooms.
The second generation Celerio sports Maruti’s ‘3D organic sculpted design’. Up front, it has a new radiator grille with chrome embellishment, a simple bonnet and an aggressive bumper with circular fog lights.
Curved doors with flap-style handles, mildly flared wheel arches, and alloy wheels can be seen along the sides of the car which has a simpler rear profile.
Inside, there is an all-new dashboard, at the centre of which sits an infotainment touchscreen, flanked by vertically placed central air vents. The air-con controls are rather old school units.
Featuring a new drive selector for the AMT variants, the new Celerio will come with features such as keyless entry, push button start-stop, idle start-stop, a multi-functional steering wheel, 12 V power socket, USB and AUX ports.
Announcing the commencement of Celerio bookings, Maruti said the hatchback will be powered by its next-generation K-Series Dual Jet, dual VVT engine.
This new 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder motor is frugal enough for Maruti to claim that the new Celerio will return the highest fuel economy among petrol cars sold in India.
The official launch of the hatchback will take place on 10th November, 2021, wherein, the exact fuel economy and other details of the motor will be revealed.
