The Mahindra XUV700 has plentiful features and is set to get more in 2022
Mahindra is expected to add more features to the XUV700 for model year 2023 and launch the updated model by the end of next year.
Some of the new features the SUV will receive include ventilated seats, auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror and powered tailgate.
Apart from adding more features to the XUV700, the automaker is also expected to revise its variant list by chucking variants that have not been favoured by customers.
For example, it is said that the AX3 variant of the car, which is the entry-level AdrenoX grade, accounts for only 15 percent of the overall bookings received to date.
Also, customers are reportedly eagerly opting for the automatic versions, rather than the manual options, with the diesel manual being the least preferred.
Interestingly, about 60 percent of buyers have gone for the petrol-powered XUV700, deliveries of which will begin by the end of this month. Diesel model deliveries will commence in the last week of November.
However, the SUV will continue to be offered with same powertrains which include a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol (200 PS and 380 Nm), 2.2-litre turbodiesel (up to 185 PS and 450 Nm), 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. All-wheel-drive is available as well.
