In August 2021, performance bike sales was dominated by Royal Enfield’s middleweight machines
Sales of performance bike models in August 2021 remained pretty much similar to the numbers reported a month earlier.
Royal Enfield is leading the pack yet again, and with a huge margin as well, thanks to its 650 twins registering sales of 834 units.
Kawasaki’s Z900 came second with 55 unit sales and Triumph retailed 43 units of the Trident 660 which will soon spawn a sport-touring variant named the Tiger Sport 660 this past month.
Suzuki sold 42 units of its third-generation Hayabusa and it was followed by the 650R twins (37 units) from Japanese brand Honda.
Triumph looks to have delivered 27 units of the Speed Twin on a single day (the bike was launched on 31st August) last month, while Kawasaki sold 24 units of its Ninja 650 in August.
The Low Rider from Harley-Davidson which found 19 new homes occupied the eighth position in the August 2021 performance bike sales chart.
Ninth place in the was taken equally by the Kawasaki ZX-10R, Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR and the Street Twin as all managed to find 14 new takers last month.
The Final position in the top 10 list was taken by the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX which registered sales of 12 units in August.
