The asking price of the 2022 Royal Enfield Classic 350 ranges between Rs. 1.84 lakhs and Rs. 2.15 lakhs (ex-showroom, Chennai)
Royal Enfield has launched the 2022 Classic 350 with a starting asking price tag of Rs. 1.84 lakhs (ex-showroom, Chennai), today in India.
The new generation model’s styling does not stray from the previous model’s styling and in a way keeps the heritage of the Classic brand going strong.
Measuring 2145 mm long, 785 mm wide, 1090 mm tall, the 2022 Classic 350 comes with a 1390 mm wheelbase, 805 mm seat height and 170 mm ground clearance.
Sporting a halogen headlamp, the new Classic 350 has a twin downtube frame, a teardrop fuel tank, wider handlebar, strengthened grab rail, new analogue dial with an LCD display and an USB port.
Royal Enfield has revealed the motorcycle in 5 versions and they are – Redditch, Halcyon, Signals, Dark and Chrome.
The Redditch series is offered in Grey and Sage Green colours. It has wire-spoked wheels, a single saddle and is the only series in the new Classic 350 range to get single channel ABS.
Up next is the Halcyon series offered in Black, Blue and Green shades. It carries the wire spoked wheels, but gets dual channel ABS.
Making a comeback for 2022 is the Signals variant offered in Desert Sand and Marsh Grey shades. It has wire-spoked wheels and dual channel ABS, but unlike the above-mentioned models comes with blacked components.
The Dark series also comes with blacked components, but sports alloy wheels. It is offered in Gunmetal Grey and Stealth Black colours.
Finally, the most expensive Chrome series, available in Bronze and Red paint options, can be fitted with the optional Tripper navigation assist.
Weighing 195 kg (13-litre fuel tank), the new Classic 350 is powered by a 349cc single cylinder motor making 20.2 BHP at 6100 RPM and 27 Nm of torque at 4000 RPM. The gearbox is a 5-speed unit.
It rides on 19-inch front wheel (100/90-section rubber) and a 18-inch rear wheel (120/80-section tyre) and is equipped with a 300 mm front disc with 2-piston floating caliper and a 270 mm rear disc with single piston floating caliper or a 153 mm drum in the case of the Redditch variant.
Bookings will open at 6 pm today and customers can also choose from as many as 35 accessories that have been developed for the modern classic machine.
