BSA is expected to launch the 650cc motorcycle first in the UK
We have here the first set of images of the 650cc motorcycle from BSA that has been spied in India.
The retro-style middleweight machine rides on wire-spoked wheels and has a simple design, while its ergonomics result in an upright riding posture.
It is clear that the motorcycle has a circular headlamp, small indicators, circular mirrors, a chromed handlebar and teardrop-shaped fuel tank.
Sporting a long single-piece seat (which seems well-padded), the 650cc BSA motorcycle also has quite large fenders and a small tail light.
It is equipped with telescopic front fork which has gaiters and twin rear shocks that are adjustable. Also, it has a disc brake on each wheel and does remind one of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 a lot, for both bikes follow a similar ethos.
Coming to the engine, the 650cc single cylinder unit is both air- and oil-cooled. While its power output is not known, it can be expected to produce around 47 HP and 40 Nm of torque.
While looking at the pictures, one of the first items on the bike that grab one’s attention is the exhaust unit. Clearly, it is a pre-production item and should be replaced with a smaller and sleeker unit when the bike enters production.
Initially, Classic Legends is expected to produce the 650cc BSA motorcycle, which will be first sold in the UK by either late 2022 or early 2023, in India. It is not known when the middleweight machine will be introduced here.
