Audi India has released a short teaser of the e-tron GT
Looks like Audi will be launching the e-tron GT soon in India, for a teaser of the electric vehicle (EV) has been shared on social media by the German firm.
Audi only recently launched the e-tron and e-tron Sportback electric SUVs in the country and shortly, its Indian EV portfolio is set to grow.
Unveiled earlier this year, the e-tron GT is a 4-door coupe that has stunning looks and is available globally in 2 variants – e-tron GT quattro and RS e-tron GT.
Being a modern vehicle, it comes packed with features. As standard, the EV gets LED lights, large wheels (19-, 20- and 21-inch options), a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, 10.1-inch touchscreen, and more. Also, the interior is free of leather.
Sporting a 85 kWh battery pack, the e-tron GT packs 2 electric motors. The top-spec RS model comes with power and torque figures of 598 PS and 830 Nm, while the base model has 476 PS and 630 torques.
It has a limited top speed of 250 km/hr and the RS variant completes the 0-100 km/hr dash in 3.3 seconds. But, most importantly, the EV comes with a maximum range of 487 km.
Once that charge runs out, it can be charged using a 11 kW AC charger or a DC charger with an output of up to 270 kW.
Furthermore, the electric grand tourer comes with quattro all-wheel-drive, rear-axle differential lock and Audi drive select too. The RS model even gets air suspension.
As stated earlier, since the Audi e-tron GT teaser is out, the EV should be launched soon in the market and it might well come with a price tag north of Rs. 1.20 crore (ex-showroom).
