The 2022 Kawasaki Vulcan S price is Rs. 6000/- more than that of the 2021 model
India Kawasaki Motors has launched the 2022 Vulcan S with an asking price of Rs. 6.10 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India.
Now, the middleweight cruiser bike is available in a single colour option called Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray.
As the name of the paint scheme states, the predominant colour of the bike is Gray. However, there are Silver contrasting sections on the fuel tank, which complement the brushed metal-finish given to the engine and other parts of the bike.
Further, tasteful Green highlights have also been added to the tank, radiator shrouds and wheel rims. However, the cruiser’s styling has not been subjected to any changes.
It still comes with a 14-litre fuel tank, a muffler located under the engine (with black-coloured protector) and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
Power comes from a 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin motor that makes 61 PS at 7500 RPM and 62.4 Nm of torque at 6600 RPM. The gearbox is a 6-speed unit.
The power figure does not seem modest until one factors in the weight figure of the motorcycle which is 235 kg. However, it does have a 1575 mm wheelbase, which should keep the bike stable at high speeds.
A 41 mm telescopic fork upfront (130 mm travel) and a rear monoshock with preload adjustment (80 mm travel) are present to soak up road imperfections, while the stopping power comes from a 300 mm front disc and 250 mm rear disc (with ABS assist, of course).
When it comes to the wheels, the 2022 Kawasaki Vulcan S has an 18-inch rim upfront with 120-section rubber and a 17-inch rear wheel wrapped with 160-section tyre.
