There is a Rs. 4.60 lakhs price difference between the Ducati XDiavel Dark and Black Star models
Ducati has launched the XDiavel Dark in India with a price tag of Rs. 18 lakhs and the XDiavel Black Star at Rs. 22.60 lakhs (ex-showroom, India), today.
Bookings are now open across all of its dealerships in the country and deliveries will begin immediately, says Ducati.
Sporting an understated look with its Dark Stealth colour scheme, Carbon Black frame and Matt Black wheels, the XDiavel Dark is a proper example of the brand’s ‘Reduce to the Max’ design principle.
The more pricier XDiavel Black Star features a Grey and Matt Black paint scheme and Red highlights. It has Gloss Black frame and wheels.
As standard, both machines come with full-LED lighting units, a 3.5-inch TFT display, backlit handlebar switches, and the latest generation electronics.
The electronics package includes an IMU, cornering ABS, Ducati Power Launch (DPL), Ducati Traction Control (DTC), riding modes, power modes and cruise control.
They also share the 1262cc Testastretta twin-cylinder engine as well. The unit is good for 160 HP at 9500 RPM and 127.5 Nm at 5000 RPM.
However, the bikes do have other differences than the paint scheme. For example, a customer who pays the Ducati XDiavel Dark price gets adjustable 50 mm USD fork, twin 320 mm semi-floating front discs, Brembo M4.32 radial mono-bloc calipers, radial master cylinder, and die-cast wheels.
On the other hand, the XDiavel Black Star features a suede fabric seat, Ducati Multimedia System (DMS), adjustable 50 mm USD fork with DLC treatment, forged rims (2 kg lighter) and Brembo M50 radial mono-bloc calipers.
