Mahindra XUV700 global debut has finally been confirmed while the launch date is a while away.
Mahindra XUV700 will reveal its face finally on 14th August 2021 (yes you read that right), while the launch date is still not confirmed. Expect it to hit the showrooms around October, just when the festive season begins.
Since 2019 we have seen a lot of test mules of this vehicle, to the point that it became a meme. Our social media inbox is loaded with these spy pictures. Now that day is not far away when we’ll see the new generation Cheetah in all its glory.
It will be the first SUV from Mahindra stable to get the new Twin Peaks logo. The front grille dominates the face of the car with chrome strips. The LED headlights will get Cheetah tear marks inspired LED DRLs.
The side profile looks muscular but with a clean look, thanks to the new first in segment flush door handles. The tail lights are LED units as well with an X shape design. The overall profile looks a tad longer and wider than the XUV500.
The interior of the new Mahindra XUV700 will get a premium design, specially the dashboard panel with a wide Mercedes inspired twin-display setup for the instrument cluster as well as the infotainment system.
Some of the features will include advance driver assistance system, panoramic sunroof, Alexa controlled infotainment, electronic parking brake, auto climate control, etc.
It will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine option along with a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both the motors will get manual and automatic transmission option.
The Mahindra XUV700 will be available in 6-seater and 7-seater options and you can expect the carmaker to announce a lot of variants on the launch date. It will compete with the likes of Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus.
