Ducati Multistrada V4 Price Is Rs. 18.99 Lakhs

The price tag of the Ducati Multistrada V4 S starts from Rs. 23.10 lakhs (ex-showroom)

Ducati has launched the Multistrada V4 in India with a price tag of Rs. 18.99 lakhs (ex-showroom), today.

The Multistrada V4 S has also been launched and it costs between Rs. 23.10 lakhs and Rs. 23.30 lakhs (prices are ex-showroom) based on the chosen colour option.

As standard, both the Multistrada V4 and the V4 S are offered in Ducati Red, while the latter can also be had in the Aviator Grey shade.

The Multistrada V4 looks muscular and elegant at the same time. Be it the mass-loaded front with the modern lights, beak and flyscreen or the sleek rear section, the bike looks ace from every angle.

To arrive in showrooms by early next week, the Multistrada V4 and S are powered by a 1158cc liquid-cooled engine that makes 170 HP and 125 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox having a slip and assist clutch.

Although, the adventure tourer is sporty in nature, it does have a lot of practical features like the dedicated compartment on the fuel tank for storing and recharging a smartphone and a height-adjustable seat, to name a couple.

Instrument Cluster — The V4 S gets a larger display

The Multistrada V4 is fitted with a 5-inch TFT display, and on the other hand, the V4 S features an adjustable 6.5-inch color TFT unit. The bikes also get Ducati Connect system and Ducati Multimedia System (DMS).

Being the top Ducati adventure bike, the Multistrada V4 and S are packed with tech such as an IMU that manages the Cornering ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) and Cornering Ducati Traction Control (DTC).

While the base model comes with a Ducati Safety Pack (DSP), the V4 S gets more tech like Vehicle Hold Control (VHC), Ducati Quick Shift (Up/Down) and Cruise Control.

But, the most important technology present on the bike is the front and rear radar rider-assistance system which manages adaptive cruise control and blind spot detection functions. The radar system is available only on the top-spec model.

In terms of suspension, the Multistrada V4 comes with Marzocchi components, while the V4 S feature semi-active Marzocchi units with Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) Evolution system.

Both versions ride on 19-inch front wheel (120/70-section rubber) and a 17-inch rear rim (170/60-section rubber) while the tyres are Pirelli Scorpion Trail units. Stopping power is provided by Brembo hardware.
