Sporting MotoGP branding on the tank shrouds, fuel tank and side panels, the FZ 25 Monster Energy MotoGP Edition celebrates the brand’s successful run in MotoGP so far this year.
Yamaha headed into the summer brake as the top performer in the MotoGP premier class, and holds the advantage in the team, constructor and rider’s standings.
No changes have been made to the motorcycle apart from the different paint scheme. Thus, while the Yamaha FZ 25 MotoGP Edition price is Rs. 2000/- more than the regular variant, it is powered by the same 249cc engine that puts out 20.8 PS and 20.1 Nm of torque.
Further, it retains all of the features such as the LED headlight with DRLs, LCD instrument cluster and side stand engine cut-off on offer with the model.
India Yamaha Motor has stated that it has plans to introduce the Monster Energy MotoGP limited edition variants of its other 2-wheelers as well.
