The BMW S 1000 RR Isle Of Man Edition is limited to only 50 units
BMW Motorrad France has introduced the S 1000 RR Isle Of Man Edition, inspired by the extreme Tourist Trophy event.
Limited to only 50 units, the special edition model, says BMW, has been made in honour of its drivers who have so far won the Isle Of Man TT.
Interestingly, the superbike is not available in the UK, but only in France, where it costs €33,005 (Rs. 29.21 lakhs).
Painted in a special Isle of Man Green shade, it sports yellow tinted LED headlights, tinted flyscreen, forged wheels (they come in copper colour like the crankcase) and a Titanium exhaust.
According to BMW, the special edition is an accompaniment to the M3 Berline sports sedan. Its Carbon Pack option and the black and gray Alcantara seats mimic the M3’s carbon trim and Merino Silverstone upholstery.
Mechanically, the limited edition model comes with the same running gear as the regular model. But, additionally, it features cruise control, heated grips, M semi-active suspension and M Endurance chain.
