MV Agusta has not revised the styling of the Brutale 1000 RR for 2021
MV Agusta has unveiled the 2021 model year Brutale 1000 RR which now complies with Euro 5 emissions regulations.
To help the motor meet stringent emissions norms, MV Agusta says it has worked to reduce internal friction by using DLC coated tappets and sintered valve guides.
New cam profiles have been also used (for more torque lower in the rev range), while the Italian bike manufacturer also redesigned the exhaust of the 2021 Brutale 1000 RR so that it emits fewer particulate matter.
As a result, the 998cc, 4-cylinder lump puts out the same 208 HP at 13,000 RPM and 116.5 Nm at 11,000 RPM as before, despite being severely restricted. The engine comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox with electronic quickshift assist.
Sporting electronic Ohlins suspension (tweaked to offer more comfort), the 2021 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR features twin 320 mm front discs and single 220 mm rear disc with Brembo calipers all-round.
What’s more, along with the new inertial measurement kit for 2021, the ABS system is sourced from Continental and sports rear wheel lift mitigation with cornering function.
The Brutale 1000 RR that is priced at €32,300 (Rs. 28.72 lakhs) also gets a new 5-inch TFT dash with integrated GPS navigation and a built-in Mobisat tracker.
