Skoda has revealed the 2021 Kodiaq facelift with revised styling, more features and a new heart for the RS variant.
Upfront, the 2021 Kodiaq gets a revised bonnet, a more upright grille, slimmer LED headlights, a new bumper which incorporates an air dam, while the splitter completes the front fascia.
The Active, Ambition and Style trims will come with aluminium-effect detailing on the front and rear apron, while LED Matrix headlights are available for the first time on the Kodiaq.
At the rear, the 2021 Skoda Kodiaq facelift carries forward the same diffuser design as the pre-facelift model. It has a new rear spoiler with a third brake light, sharp and slim LED tail lights and a slightly smaller windscreen.
Now, the Kodiaq RS features a model-specific front bumper and Skoda offers the Kodiaq with alloys ranging from 17 to 20 inches in size.
Revisions have been made to the interior of the 2021 Skoda Kodiaq facelift, with the SUV sporting new decorative strips, additional contrasting stitching and LED ambient lighting. Features such as a 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit, a touchscreen up to 9.2 inches in size are also present.
As options, customers can choose perforated-leather seats with electric seat adjustment, ventilation and massage function. Similarly, ‘Eco’ seats are also available for the Ambition and Style trim levels, while another optional extra that can be had is the 10-speaker Canton sound system.
When it comes to the powertrain, the 2021 Skoda Kodiaq will be available with 1.5-litre and 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel engine options with power figures between 150 PS and 245 PS. The latter is made by the RS variant.
The gearbox choices include a 6-speed manual (only 1.5-litre petrol) and 7-speed DSG. All-wheel drive will be offered on Kodiaq’s making 190 PS or more.
To be available from July 2021 overseas, the facelifted Kodiaq will also feature an enhanced version of Crew Protect Assist that has additional radar sensors at the rear.
