2021 Triumph Bonneville Range Launched, Priced From Rs. 7.95 Lakhs

Triumph has launched the 2021 Bonneville range in India with a starting price tag of Rs. 7.95 lakhs (ex-showroom), today.

The updated modern classics include the Bonneville Street Twin, Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120 and T120 Black, the Speedmaster and the special edition Street Twin Gold Line.

In the updated line-up, the most affordable model is the 2021 Street Twin, while the Bonneville Speedmaster is the most expensive at Rs. 11.75 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Let us take a closer look of all the bikes starting with the 2021 Triumph Street Twin, which costs Rs. 50,000/- more than the 2020 model.

It now has a revised seat, brushed aluminium detailing, cast wheels, ride-by-wire throttle control, 2 riding modes (Rain and Road), Brembo front brake, ABS and switchable traction control.

Powered by a 900cc parallel twin motor, the 2021 Street Twin makes 65 PS at 7500 RPM and 80 Nm of torque at 3800 RPM.

Limited to only 1000 units worldwide, the 2021 Street Twin Gold Line special edition sports a Matt Sapphire Black paint scheme with Triumph heritage logo and hand-painted gold lining.

This bike has a new side panel with a custom Street Twin logo and machined spoke detailing on its wheels with gold pin striping. Only 30 units of the Gold Line will be available for Indian customers.

Moreover, it comes with a certificate of authenticity, personalised with the VIN number of each motorcycle. Triumph says the Gold Line is the first of 5 special edition models which will be launched in India this year.

Coming next is the 2021 Triumph Bonneville T100 that is powered by a 900cc parallel twin motor putting out 65 PS at 7400 RPM and 80 Nm at 3750 RPM. The bike is 4 kg lighter, has a torque-assist clutch, 41 mm cartridge front forks, twin rear shocks, 32-spoke styled wheels, Brembo 2-piston front brake, ABS, switchable traction control.

It comes equipped with a new instrument dial face, an integrated multi-function display, the steel rear mudguard, chrome parts, LED rear light, an under-seat USB and can be had in Lucerne Blue and Fusion White scheme, Jet Black or Carnival Red and Fusion White paint options.

Next up are the 2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 and T120 Black. Both bikes now weigh 7 kg less and have a 1200cc parallel twin motor good for 80 PS at 6550 RPM and 105 Nm at 3500 RPM.

Sporting a new 3-bar heritage chromed metal badge, the bikes have a torque-assist clutch, engine immobiliser incorporated into the key, under-seat USB charging socket, LED DRL, revised instrument cluster, new aluminium wheel rims, Brembo brakes, cruise control, riding modes, ABS and switchable traction control.

While the 2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 comes in Jet Black, Cordovan Red and Silver Ice, and Cobalt Blue and Silver Ice paint options, the 2021 T120 Black comes in Jet Black or Matt Jet Black and Matt Graphite schemes.

Finally, the 2021 Bonneville Speedmaster sports a 1200cc parallel twin engine making 78 PS at 6100 RPM and 106 Nm at 4000 RPM.

Having a traditional cruiser bodywork, the Speedmaster comes with ride-by-wire tech, 2 riding modes, 47mm Showa cartridge forks, preload adjustable rear monoshock, Brembo brakes ABS, traction control, updated seats, a torque-assist clutch, cruise control and full LED lighting.

Colour schemes that the bike can be had in include Jet Black, Fusion White and Sapphire Black and Red Hopper Candy.
