2021 Yamaha R15 V3 Gets Metallic Red Colour Option
The entry-level supersports motorcycle now comes in a total of 4 colour options.
Yamaha India has increased the number of colours it offers on the 2021 R15 version 3.0 (V3) by adding a new Metallic Red shade, today.
Launched with an asking price of Rs. 1,52,100/- (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Metallic Red R15 looks similar to the Racing Blue variant of the entry-level supersports motorcycle.
However, there are differences such as black graphics on the side panels, a darker font for the Yamaha sticker, the section of the fairing near the flyscreen now comes in black, while the alloy wheels get red stripes.
In addition to the Metallic Red shade, the other 2021 Yamaha R15 colours that are on offer include Dark Knight, Racing Blue and Thunder Grey.
No mechanical changes have been made to the motorcycle that is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled engine which makes 18.6 PS of maximum power and 14.1 Nm of peak torque output.
Further, Yamaha India has stated that all models in its line-up, including the R15, now feature a side stand engine cut-off switch. Also, the Japanese firm claims it will continue to roll-out upgrades for the R15 V3.
