TVS’ Apache RTR series of motorcycles lead the 150cc bike sales in February 2021, relegating the Pulsar 150 from Bajaj to second place this time around.
While TVS sold a combined total of 31,735 units of its RTR motorcycle range, Bajaj retailed 25,550 units of the Pulsar 150 this past month.
In third place sits the Unicorn from Honda, which found 22,281 takers in February 2021, followed by the Yamaha FZ, 17,798 units of which got sold last month.
Two more Yamaha’s in the R15 and MT-15 come next, occupying fifth and sixth spots in the February 2021 150cc bike sales list, with 7474 units and 6176 units respectively.
Hero MotoCorp’s Xtreme comes seventh, for 4985 units of the motorcycle got sold last month. However, the contribution of the Xtreme 200S to this figure is unknown.
Eighth place goes to the Honda Hornet 2.0 which added 3596 more units to its tally. One can only wonder how many more units of the motorcycle Honda would be able to retail if the bike had been priced a bit less.
Ninth and tenth positions in the February 2021 150cc bike sales list are occupied by the Bajaj Avenger 160 (2813 units) and the Honda X-Blade (1844 units).
The Suzuki Gixxer gets an honorary mention here, for it narrowly missed from being featured in the list as it could only find 1823 takers last month.
Overall sales of the top 10 150cc bikes stood at 1.24 lakh units in February, which is an 18 percent year-on-year growth.
