Hyundai Staria Design
It features some nice lighting elements

Hyundai has officially revealed the entire design of its upcoming Staria MPV that will make its global debut soon.

According to the carmaker, the Hyundai Staria design focuses on an “inside-out” approach and prioritises the use of interior space.

On the outside, the Staria looks much like any other MPV. It has with a stubby front profile, a vertical rear section and a flat featureless side profile with a huge glasshouse.

The DRL upfront is a strip that runs across the full width of the car, while the main lighting units sit below, flanking the radiator grille that comes painted in the car’s exterior shade.

Along the sides, the beltline is as low as it gets on a car such as this, leaving space for quite large windows. Similarly, there is a big windscreen at the rear along with vertical tail lamps and a very small and lowered rear bumper.

While the Hyundai Staria design is pleasing, there will be a model named Staria Premium which will get exclusive design cues such as a different radiator grille, headlamps and tail lamps, 18-inch wheels and Hyundai emblem in tinted brass chrome finish for a more luxurious look.

The interior of the Staria features a driver-focused cockpit with a 10.25-inch display screen, a freestanding touchscreen featuring numerous buttons and a button-type electronic shift lever. There are plenty of storage spaces inside the car that can be had with 2 to 11 seats.

The Staria Premium model gets additional interior features like ambient lighting and comes only in 7-, 9- and 11-seat configurations. The top-spec 7-seat model will come with a 1-touch relaxation mode on its second-row, while the 9-seater Staria Premium has second-row seats that can swivel 180 degrees to face passengers in the third row.

Having revealed the Hyundai Staria design in full, the carmaker will debut the model through a digital event in the first half of 2021, meaning one does not have to wait for long to see the production version.
