UV sales in February 2021 was led by the Maruti Eeco that registered 11,891 unit sales, followed by the Ertiga with 9774 units.
In third place came the Innova Crysta from Toyota that found 6018 homes this past month, while Mahindra retailed 4843 units of the Bolero during the same period.
Renault’s Triber MPV was driven home by 3553 people, which would likely increase with the addition of the turbo petrol engine and a CVT gearbox option.
Maruti Suzuki’s XL6 did well to find just over 3000 takers, but the models from hereon in the February 2021 UV sales list, did not fare well.
Only 400 units of Kia’s Carnival premium MPV were retailed last month, followed by the Marazzo (120 units), which lost 90 percent of its sales year-on-year (YoY).
The MPV is soon to get a diesel-AMT variant and hopefully, that will bring in more sales. But, only time will provide us with concrete results.
Datsun’s GO+ (72 units) and the Toyota Vellfire (34 units) occupy the final 2 spots in the list that saw total sales reach 39,725 units, with a 8 percent YoY degrowth.
