Mahindra has hiked prices of its entire range of passenger cars by up to Rs. 15,000/-. The hike is the second one taken by the automaker in 2011. Recently Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors had hiked prices of their cars. Hyundai is also said to be considering an increase in prices due to rising input costs.
“We have hiked prices last week by 1.5 to 2 per cent on all our vehicles due to higher commodity costs. The price hike will vary between Rs 7000/- to Rs 15,000/- on different models,” Mahindra President (Automotive and Farm Sectors) Pawan Goenka said.
