2021 Triumph Bonneville Range Unveiled
In order to keep its revered Bonneville range fresh, the motorcycle maker has updated the whole lot at once.
Triumph has updated its Bonneville family of modern classic motorcycles for 2021, enhancing their visual appeal and adding more performance.
The 2021 Triumph Bonneville lineup Consists of the – Street Twin, Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120 and T120 Black, Bonneville Bobber and Bonneville Speedmaster. In India, the firm currently sells the Street Twin, T100, T120 and the Speedmaster.
2021 Triumph Street Twin –
For 2021, the boffins at Hinckley have given the Street Twin a new seat, new side panels, fresh decals on the fuel tank, and brushed aluminium finish on the headlight brackets and throttle body. There are new 10-spoke cast-aluminium wheels on the bike that comes with 3 colour options.
Its “high-torque” 900cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine now puts out 65 PS at 7500 RPM and 80 Nm at 3800 RPM. To be available overseas from March, it costs from £8200 (Rs. 8.39 lakhs).
2021 Triumph Street Twin Gold Line –
Limited to 1000 units worldwide, the new 2021 Triumph Street Twin Gold Line comes in a Matte Sapphire Black shade with hand-painted gold striping and the Triumph heritage logo. It costs £8800 (Rs. 9 lakhs) and will be available overseas by June.
2021 Triumph Bonneville T100 –
Updates that the 2021 Triumph Bonneville T100 received include a new part-digital twin-pod instrument cluster, blacked out engine casing, sprocket and cam covers, and reduced weight.
The now Euro 5 compliant 900cc puts out 65 PS at 7400 RPM and 80 Nm at 3750 RPM. The motor has a low inertia crankshaft, lightened clutch and counterbalancers,.
Non-adjustable 41 mm front forks work with adjustable twin rear shocks while braking hardware utilises Brembo caliper upfront and Nissin unit at the rear. The bike costs £9100 (Rs. 9.31 lakhs) and can be had in 4 colour options.
2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 and T120 Black –
Featuring an “high-torque” 1200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that now has a lighter crankshaft, mass-optimised clutch and counterbalancers, the 2021 T120 and T120 Black have 80 PS at 6550 RPM and 105 Nm at 3500 RPM.
While the bikes have lost 7 kg overall, they have gained cruise control, have 2 ride modes (Road and Rain), Brembo braking hardware, ABS and switchable traction control.
Design-wise, the motorcycles look the same as before, but have updated instrument dials and a throwback 3-bar Triumph tank badge. The T120 Black is for those who like everything black. Prices for both models start at £10,800 (Rs. 11 lakhs).
2021 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster –
Sporting the T120s 1200cc parallel-twin engine, the 2021 Speedmaster has 78 PS at 6100 RPM and 106 Nm at 4000 RPM for the rider to use at his or her whim.
It comes with 2 ride modes (Rain and Road), has 47mm Showa cartridge forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear, along with more comfortable seats, new colours and a new bezel and dial face on the clock.
ABS and switchable traction control are offered as standard on the motorcycle that costs £11,850 (Rs. 12.12 lakhs) in the UK.
2021 Triumph Bonneville Bobber –
Triumph has merged the Bobber and Bobber Black into one single model for this year and calls it just the Bobber. Equipped with the same engine as the Speedmaster, producing the same power and torque figures, the bike comes with 2 ride modes as well.
Sporting a new LED headlight with DRL, the 2021 Bobber has a larger fuel tank, 47 mm Showa front forks, a monoshock at the rear, 16-inch wheels and Brembo braking hardware.
Available in 3 colour choices, the bike has blacked out engine, cam and sprocket covers and the instrument bezel and dial face come in the same colour as well.
Cruise control is now offered as standard on the bike that costs £11,850 (Rs. 12.12 lakhs) in the UK.
