BMW – The German luxury carmaker is all set to introduce yet another variant of the BMW 3-Series in India. It will be the performance oriented BMW M340i. The 3.0-litre in-line 6-cylinder engine produces 374 HP and 500 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission. The car will be launched on 10th March in India with an expected price of Rs. 65 lakhs.
Jaguar – The British premium carmaker has decided to go all-electric from 2025. All Jaguar and Land Rover offerings will be offered with a pure electric variant by the end of this decade. JLR is also working on hydrogen fuel-cell technology to achieve net zero carbon emission by 2039.
Fuel Price – Petrol and diesel prices have been revised for seventh consecutive day. Petrol price has increased by 26 paise in Delhi today, currently stands at Rs. 88.99 per litre. Diesel is priced at Rs. 79.35 per litre, hiked by 29 paise. In Mumbai, petrol rate is Rs. 95.46 per litre while diesel is Rs. 86.34 per litre.
Fastag – Fastag is mandatory across the nation starting today, violators will be charged double the toll. The aim is to reduce waiting time and fuel consumption at toll plazas. No lane will be accepting cash payments now.
