Ducati has launched the 2021 Scrambler Icon Dark with a price tag of Rs. 7.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India today, in a bid to strengthen its BS6 portfolio.
Alongside the Scrambler Icon Dark, the BS6-compliant Scrambler Icon was also launched at Rs. 8.49 lakhs and so was the Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro which costs Rs. 10.99 lakhs (both prices ex-showroom).
For the 2021 model year, the Ducati Scrambler Icon comes with a BS6-compliant 803cc air-cooled L-twin engine that puts out 73 HP and 66.2 Nm of torque. There is a teardrop fuel tank with aluminium side panels, an LCD instrument cluster and new headlight with DRL.
The motorcycle now gets retuned suspension to make it more apt for daily use while the hydraulic clutch has a softer feel, says Ducati. Also new on the bike is cornering ABS and new multimedia system.
Colours the bike can be had with are Ducati Red and 62 Yellow. The Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark price is comparatively lesser for it comes with a Matt Black paint scheme and grey highlights.
The 2021 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO is the entry model to the firm’s 1100 range and has a “Dark Stealth” Matt Black paint scheme and anodised aluminium parts.
It has a 1079cc engine putting out 86 HP and 88 Nm and is equipped with Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Cornering ABS, 3 riding modes (Active, Journey and City), Ride By Wire, LED lights, Brembo brakes, an LCD cluster and a 15-litre fuel tank.
Like before, the bikes are customisable and Ducati offers plentiful accessories too. Deliveries of the motorcycles will begin by 28th January 2021.
