Tata Motors which had at one point of time sold only around 500 units of the Nano has made a strong come back by selling 8707 units of the world’s cheapest car in March, 2011. The Nano sales has seen an 85% growth over the same month last year. The company sold 27,678 units of Tata branded cars last month. The company also launched launched the Indica eV2, Indica Vista Drivetech4, Indigo e-CS, Manza, Venture and the Aria last fiscal, helping them capture a larger share in the highly competitive Indian car market.
