The 2021 Mahindra TUV300 Plus facelift has been spotted on test sporting the same set of upgrades as we had revealed back in September 2020 (read article here).
While all eyes are on the carmaker’s next-generation XUV500 and Scorpio, the firm is also working on updating its lineup. This includes giving the TUV300 and TUV300 Plus models a facelift.
Here we have the latest spy shots of the 2021 TUV300 Plus facelift which reveal the redesigned front profile of the multi-utility vehicle.
It is evident that the car sports an updated grille with 6 vertical slats, revised front bumper with more angular fog lamp housings and a wider air dam. It looks like the headlights have been tweaked as well.
There seem to be no changes made along the sides of the car, while at the rear, there might be a new bumper. The tail lights seem to be untouched as are the wheels.
Inside, while the layout will largely be the same, Mahindra might throw in more goodies, upgrade the infotainment system and offer latest connectivity options.
In all likelihood, the changes made to the front profile of the TUV300 Plus facelift, and feature additions, will be carried forward to the TUV300 facelift as well.
Mahindra is expected to retain the 2.2-litre diesel engine in the TUV300 Plus, but it will be BS6-compliant this time around and put out a maximum of 120 BHP and 280 Nm peak torque. It will come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
Expect the Mahindra TUV300 Plus facelift spied recently and the TUV300 facelift to hit showrooms in the early part of 2021.
