Aprilia has launched the SXR 160 in India with a price tag of Rs. 1,25,997/- (ex-showroom, Pune), today. The scooter can be booked for a token amount of Rs. 5000/- at the brand’s dealerships or on its website.
Powered by a 160cc single pot motor that puts out 11 PS of maximum power and 11 Nm of peak torque, the scooter comes with Aprilia’s global design language that lends it a fresh appeal.
Sporting neat, yet sharp, body lines, muscular maxi-scooter looks, signature graphics along with Matt Black trim inserts, the SXR 160, on the design front at least, seems worthy of its asking price.
It is good on the equipment-front too, for the Aprilia SXR 160 price demands it, sporting LED headlights with DRLs, LED tail lights, tinted windscreen, a spacious seat finished in suede art leather and alloy wheels, to name a few.
The LCD digital cluster provides enough information and customers can also opt for the mobile connectivity accessory using which the rider can connect his/her mobile to the scooter and use it to locate the vehicle, raise the alarm, among other things.
Practicality has not been compromised either, with there being enough storage spaces and the SXR 160 even has a 7-litre fuel tank, to provide more range than a regular scooter.
Available at all dealerships across India, the scooter comes with ABS safety net and can be had in Glossy Red, Glossy White, Matt Black or Matt Blue colour option.
