BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe Black Shadow Launched, Priced At Rs. 42.30 Lakhs
The model is limited to only 24 units and can be ordered only through the BMW online shop.
BMW has launched the 2-Series Gran Coupe “Black Shadow” edition at Rs. 42.30 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India today.
Limited to 24 units and available only on BMW online shop from 7th December 2020 onwards, the 220d model will be available in M Sport design scheme.
Locally produced at the BMW plant in Chennai, the BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe Black Shadow will get the BMW Individual high-gloss shadow line package along with BMW ‘M’ Performance parts worth Rs. 2.50 lakhs.
New design elements such as the mesh-style M front grille, black mirror caps, rear spoiler, black chrome tail pipe finishers, 18-inch Jet Black Matt forged wheels and the floating hub cap all work well to enhance the exterior of the sedan and give it bit more dynamic looks.
Things are pretty normal inside the car. There are sport seats with memory function, illuminated trim, ambient lighting, 10.25-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch digital cluster, a panorama glass sunroof, among several other features.
The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe Black Shadow edition is available in Alpine White (non-metallic) and Black Sapphire (metallic) colours as of now.
No mechanical changes have been made to the car. It continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine, putting out 190 HP and 400 Nm peak torque, which is mated to a 8-speed auto gearbox.
Like the regular version, the limited edition model comes with launch control, cruise control with braking, 4 driving modes and a plethora of safety features as standard.
