We have rendered Suzuki scooters sold in India as Ecstar edition models shortly after Honda launched Repsol Honda edition variant of the Dio.
The Dio Repsol Honda Edition was launched to commemorate the firm’s achievement of raking in 800 grand prix victories in the MotoGP championship.
However, Suzuki might arguably have a better reason to launch a special edition variant of its scooters since its rider Joan Mir won the 2020 MotoGP championship earlier this month.
What better way would there be to celebrate it other than to launch special edition variants of its Access 125 and Burgman Street scooters? However this is just a figment of our imagination at the moment.
While Suzuki has not shown any inclination towards launching such a variant of its scooters, it already has its Gixxer 250-series motorcycles on sale here with the livery.
Launching such special editions would not only be a chance for Suzuki to celebrate its achievement, but it would also offer more choice to customers and possibly bring in more sales.
Let us know what you think of the rendering in general and if you would like to see the Ecstar edition scooters get introduced in the market.
