Toyota – The Japanese carmaker recently introduced the Toyota Urban Cruiser which is a rebadged Maruti Vitara Brezza. Another volume spinner in their portfolio is the Toyota Glanza based on Maruti Baleno. Now with these high selling products, Toyota is expanding their presence across the country. They have recently crossed a milestone of having more than 400 touch points across India. They have added 100 new sales and service touch points in the last two years and plan to add more in the near future.
Royal Enfield – The newly launched RE Meteor 350 is getting a lot of attention in the Indian market. The bookings are surging and as a result, the waiting period for the bike has increased to more than 3 months. In some cities, the bike will be delivered in March 2021. Mumbai has the lowest waiting period of 45 days followed by Delhi which has 60 days waiting. Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad have the highest waiting periods.
MG Motor – Seems like the flagship MG Gloster SUV is getting a lot of demand in the Indian market as the carmaker has received all the bookings for the 2000 units allotted in the first batch. Now the fresh bookings will be taken with the revised price as the first batch with intro pricing is sold out till 31st December 2020. The revised pricing has increased by up to Rs. 1 lakh.
Fuel Price – After a gap of more than a month, fuel price revision is back in action across all metro cities. Petrol and diesel prices have been hiked for the fourth consecutive day now. Petrol has gone up by 46 paise per litre while diesel by 80 paise per litre in just four days. Currently, the petrol price in Delhi is Rs. 81.53 per litre while diesel price is Rs. 71.25 per litre.
