Nissan – The Japanese carmaker’s latest entrant in the Indian market is the Nissan Magnite compact SUV. It will be launched on 2nd December. Expected to come with a starting price of Rs. 5.50 lakhs (ex-showroom). Will be offered with two 1.0-litre petrol engine options. There will be no diesel engine on offer. Transmission options will include 5-speed MT and CVT automatic.
Hyundai – The new generation Hyundai i20 has got all the attention this Diwali season. The carmaker has received 20,000 bookings in 20 days. They have delivered more than 4000 units to customers during Diwali. Hyundai claims they have received 85 percent bookings for the high end variants (Sportz and above).
Royal Enfield – The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has now launched in the Thailand market soon after its debut in the home market. The pricing of the Meteor 350 in Thailand starts from 150,000 Thai Baht and goes up to 159,500 Thai Baht. Just like in India, Royal Enfield is offering three variants in Thailand as well – Fireball, Stellar and Supernova.
Ather – The electric scooter maker has commenced deliveries of the latest Ather 450X scooter in Bengaluru and Chennai. The scooter is also available for orders in Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. The company is expanding their presence rapidly across the country with their latest round of funding. They will announce more dealerships across the country soon.
