BMW – BMW Motorrad has opened bookings for the new G 310 R and G 310 GS offerings that will get some updates and a BS6 compliant engine. The bike maker will announce the pricing very soon while the deliveries are set to commence in India from 10th October.
Nissan – The Japanese carmaker recently introduced a new 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine with the Nissan Kicks. In order to boost the sales, they are offering discounts up to Rs. 75,000/- with the compact SUV. This offer is valid only for the month of September which includes exchange schemes, loyalty bonus and corporate discounts.
Kia – The Korean carmaker has teased a range of all-electric cars that will be launched globally. Kia is preparing to introduce 7 all-new electric cars in the next 7 years. The teaser image has a range of cars including SUVs of all shapes and sizes, sedans and even hatchbacks. The carmaker is aiming for BEVs to account for 20 percent of its total vehicle sales in Korea, North America and Europe.
Hyundai – Hyundai has previewed the new i30 N facelift. The performance hatchback looks sharp and very sporty. The large grille and new aggressive styling adds to the N characteristics. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol motor mated to a new 8-speed DCT autobox.
Motor Trivia – Did you know, in 1978 Mercedes W116 became the first production car to use an electronic four-wheel multi-channel anti-locking braking system (ABS).
