While Honda didn’t make much amends to the CBR250R in India, Indians have their own way of doing things. One such individual has modified his CBR250R into a naked motorcycle and it’s available on sale online.
Mr. Z Shaikh is the man behind the bike, and he has done a fairly decent job. He has also provided almost all necessary information about the bike.
The modified naked motorcycle is based on a 2011 Honda CBR250R. The mileage is decent at 36,500 kms, especially if you consider that it has had 3 owners.
Coming to the modifications, the bike has received a handful of updates. The most obvious one is that there’s no fairing now. Other changes include a new headlamp (from the KTM Duke 250), an aftermarket exhaust, a red pillion seat, a tail tidy, and an aftermarket ABS system.
The seller claims that the exhaust is an Akrapovic, but you should probably ask for an official bill. To further enhance the aesthetics of the modified Honda CBR250R, there is bright yellow taping on the front forks and headlights, and a tank pad is also present.
Among other things, you will also notice that the bike has handlebar-mounted mirrors and no front number plate which might result in a challan. Talking of challans, the pollution certificate and the insurance have also expired. The seller has also mentioned that he has the stock exhaust and the fairings.
Interested in the bike? It can be all yours for just Rs. 34,000/-. On-road price, of course. The bike currently sits in Govandi, Mumbai. If you’re looking for cheap thrills and an eye-catching motorcycle, you should probably visit the owner. Oh, and not to forget, the modified Honda CBR250R will probably outlive us all, thanks to the superb reliability.
