Maruti – The S-Cross is due for its BS6 update since a long while. It will come with a 1.5-litre petrol engine now. Launch is scheduled for 5th August. Maruti Suzuki has commenced bookings today for a token amount of Rs. 11,000/-. It will be offered with 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission options.
Honda – The Japanese two-wheeler maker has just crossed 11 lakh BS6 two-wheeler sales milestone, claiming to be industry first to cross 1 million mark. Activa 125 was the first BS6 model introduced by Honda in September 2019.
TVS – The Indian two-wheeler maker has yet again hiked the price of Jupiter. The Jupiter range is now Rs. 1040/- pricier than before and comes with a starting price of Rs. 63,102/- (ex-showroom).
Hero – Ather Energy has announced a fresh round of investment of Rs. 84 crores from Hero MotoCorp. Hero’s shareholding in Ather Energy is now up from 31.27 percent to 34.58 percent. The electric scooter maker is now looking to scale their network to 20 cities by the end of 2021.
