The Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy has been revealed as the range-topping model of the crossover with several differentiating factors when compared to lower trim levels.
The Palisade Calligraphy was introduced in Hyundai’s home market a few months back.
Exterior changes include a new grille with additional chrome trim, puddle lights, 20-inch alloy wheels, a unique lighting “signature” and an “ultra-wide” third LED brake light.
The interior has seen even more changes that the exterior with the Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy.
For example, the material quality has been improved and a microfibre-suede headliner and quilted-leather door panels are offered.
Also, offered are perforated leather steering wheel, heated/ventilated Nappa leather seats, captain chairs in the second row and a cargo sill protection plate.
The Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy comes equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment system with GPS navigation and a Harman Kardon premium audio system.
The Palisade has a 3.8-litre V6 engine that produces 291 HP and 355 Nm of torque and it is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission which is paired to a standard all-wheel drive system.
Hyundai says besides the new range-topping variant, the 2021 Palisade has undergone changes “to give buyers of all trim-levels added comfort and convenience.”
The entry-level models now come equipped with LED headlights, HD radio and support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard.
The mid-level models now gain a sunroof, LED map lights and overall, the feature list on the Palisade has increased on every trim.
The 2021 Hyundai Palisade will arrive at US dealerships later this month. Pricing of the car is yet to be announced.
