Audi – The new generation Audi RS7 will go on sale in India on 16th July. Bookings of the performance car commenced last month and deliveries are set to begin from August. It comes with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 600 HP and 800 Nm torque.
MG Motor – The carmaker has introduced the new ZS facelift in UK which gets updated styling, revised interiors, more features and 1.5-litre petrol motor. The car is expected to launch in India by March 2021.
Mahindra – The flagship SUV of Mahindra, the Alturas G4 was due for a BS6 update since a long while. The SUV has been updated now and deliveries will commence starting from this month. It competes agains the Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner.
Honda – The Japanese bike maker has removed the Honda CB300R from their official Indian website. The bike was due for a BS6 update and it has now been removed. It was imported via CKD and is expected to re-launch with an updated engine in the near future. It has been discontinued temporarily it seems.
Motor Trivia – Did you know, Tamil Nadu records the highest road accidents for a decade and its capital Chennai has more accidents than any other city in India.
Comment of the day – Jtoms Infra – “In my view the biggest blunder was not using it’s 1.6 diesel engine in its car. During the mad rush of diesel, the did the experiments with turbo petrol engine. Of course they used 1.3 multijet in their cars but this engine wasn’t match of heavy Fiat cars.”
