MG Hector Plus Bookings Commence, Specs Revealed
The 6-seater SUV will take on the Toyota Innova, Mahindra XUV 500, Tata Gravitas and the like.
With its launch nearing, MG Hector Plus bookings commence in India. Booking amount for the 6-seater SUV has been set at Rs. 50,000/- and can be made online.
In terms of styling, the MG Hector Plus is similar to the 5-seater version, but there are differences between the two.
There is a large grille at the front with new LED headlights with floating indicators and DRLs that are integrated into the revised bumper.
The side profile is where the length of the car can be seen, while the rear profile is entirely new. The tailgate and the bumper have been redesigned and the tail lamps are revised as well. The red strip that ran across the taillights has been deleted.
The biggest difference on the inside, apart from the presence of a third row of seats, is the brown leatherette upholstery and the second row has captain seats with recline facility and arm rests.
The MG Hector Plus comes with over 55 connected car features including navigation, voice assistant, vehicle scan, roadside assistance and more. Here are a few confirmed details of the MG Hector Plus:
The 1.5-litre turbo petrol in MG Hector Plus produces 143 PS and 250 Nm of torque. The oil-burner is a 2.0-litre unit that puts out 170 PS and 350 Nm. It can be had with six colour options.
Shown at the Auto Expo earlier this year, production of the SUV commenced in June at the firm’s Halol facility in Gujarat. It will rival the Toyota Innova Crysta, Tata Gravitas, Mahindra XUV 500, among others.
