After all the speculations and leaks, Bajaj Auto has finally launched the Pulsar 125 Split Seat variant. It is priced at Rs. 79,091/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is the new range topping variant which costs Rs. 3597/- more than the regular disc brake variant.
The bike gets visual tweaks making it look more sporty than its other trims. First up is the split seat setup, which looks quite appealing than the single seat layout. Secondly, they have added new grab rails that add to the aesthetics. There is a new belly pan too, which makes the bike look complete.
Bajaj Auto claims it’s the most powerful 125cc motorcycle in its segment with first in class features. The company says last few months have been testing times for the industry as well as consumers and they hope the new Pulsar variant will re-ignite consumer interests.
The new split seat variant will be available with Neon Green (on Matte Black), Black Silver & Black Red colour options across all dealerships pan India.
Powering the bike is the same 125cc, BS6, DTS-i, FI engine. It produces 11.8 PS at 8500 RPM and 10.8 Nm torque at 6500 RPM. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The Pulsar 125 gets telescopic suspension up front with twin gas shock rear suspension. Ground clearance is 165 mm, seat height is 790 mm and kerb weight of the motorcycle is 142 kg. Power to weight ratio is 85.7 PS/ton.
