Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise price increased significantly within short span of time.
BS6 Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise price has been increased by Rs. 2502/-. The bike is now available for Rs. 1.19 lakhs (ex-showroom).
While the recent hike might look subtle but it is quite significant when you compare it to the BS4 model. Bajaj Auto increased the price of the Avenger 220 Cruise by Rs. 11,584/- when they launched BS6.
Which takes the total price hike to Rs. 14,086/- and that’s quite significant for the cruiser bike. The styling, features and specifications remain unchanged with this update.
It is powered by the same 220cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled, FI engine. It churns out 19.03 PS of power at 8500 RPM and 17.55 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. Available in Auburn Black and Moon White colour options.
It gets telescopic front suspension and 5-step twin-shock absorber rear suspension. 280 mm disc is provided at front while rear remains a 130 mm drum. Bajaj Auto offers single-channel ABS with the bike.
The Avenger 220 Cruise has a 13-litre fuel tank capacity. The seat heigh is 737 mm while the ground clearance is 169 mm. The bike weighs 163 kgs.
Some of the key highlights include fully digital instrument cluster, secondary fuel tank display, LED DRLs, long windscreen, spoke wheels, cushion backrest for pillion, etc.
The bike is loaded with chrome elements for a retro appeal. It is quite different from the Street version which looks more sporty and was inspired by the Harley-Davidson Street 750.
However, the Avenger 220 Street has been discontinued in India.
