The Italian bike maker has introduced the GPR150 ABS in China.
Aprilia has revealed the GPR150 ABS in China. It is the entry-level GPR series bike for the market, younger sibling of the Aprilia GPR250.
The Aprilia GPR150 ABS is priced at CNY 22,980 (Rs. 2.46 lakhs) in China. In terms of styling, the fully-faired motorcycle looks similar to the GPR250 with sporty elements.
The front profile gets a twin-headlight setup with LED DRL in the middle. It comes with clip-on handle bars, split seat setup and a n aggressive riding position.
There is a semi-digital instrument cluster with an analogue tachometer and digital display for gear indicator, odometer, engine temperature, speedometer and fuel level.
The Aprilia GPR150 comes with a 15.4-litre fuel tank capacity. It gets USD front forks and monoshock rear suspension. 300 mm front disc brake and 218 mm rear disc along with Bosch ABS as standard.
The bike comes shod with 100/80 R17 tyres up front and 130/70 R17 for the rear. Aprilia claims a kerb weight of 148 kg.
Powering the bike is a 149cc, single-cylinder, DOHC, liquid cooled engine that produces 18 PS at 9750 RPM and 14 Nm at 7500 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Aprilia showcased the GPR150 recently in a dealership meet in Goa. Which is a sign that the Italian bike maker is studying the bike for the Indian market and we can expect it to launch in our country.
