March 2020 positions remain unchanged compared to February 2020.
While the positions of the compact SUVs remain the same in March 2020 sales, there is a huge drop in both MoM and YoY figures. This is largely due to the BS6 transition and COVID-19 crisis in the country.
Hyundai Venue leads the pack again with 6127 units. In comparison, the February 2020 compact SUV sales list was topped with 10,321 units of Venue.
Second spot has Maruti Vitara Brezza with 5513 units and 61 percent fall in YoY sales. The Tata Nexon managed 2646 units with 53 percent fall in sales.
The Ford EcoSport saw 48 percent fall in sales with 2197 units. Mahindra sold only 814 units of XUV300 with 83 percent fall and 108 units of TUV300 with 91 percent fall in numbers.
The Honda WR-V sales crashed with 97 percent negative growth showing only 86 units. This segment had a cumulative sales of 17,491 units in March 2020 as compared to 32,519 units in March 2019. 46 percent fall in sales in this segment.
