Harley-Davidson has introduced a sporty variant of the Low Rider
Harley-Davidson Low Rider S has been introduced in India with a price tag of Rs. 14.69 lakhs (ex-showroom). The bike has been listed on the website with pricing and specs, deliveries are expected to commence post the nationwide lockdown in India.
The Low Rider S is a more sporty version of the regular Low Rider. It looks more sporty and has got performance centric tweaks to justify the ‘S’ letter in the nomenclature.
The American premium bike maker is offering two colours of the Low Rider S – Vivid Black and Barracuda Silver. The styling is almost chrome-less and there’s more of black elements on the body.
The blacked-out performance cruiser is powered by the Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine. It is a 1745cc, V-Twin, air-cooled engine producing 87 HP at 5020 RPM and 145 Nm at 3000 RPM.
The Low Rider S comes with a reduced rake angle for better handling compared to the standard model. It has an inverted front fork suspension with monoshock rear suspension.
It is based on the Softail frame. The handlebar is raised for an aggressive riding position while the cast aluminium wheels and dual front disc brakes for better stopping performance.
