Hyundai has teased the next generation Elantra with new design direction.
Hyundai is completely moving towards a new design direction with their new range of cars. First up we saw the international spec Sonata, then the new Creta followed by the new gen i20 and now they have teased the next Elantra.
The 2021 Hyundai Elantra is about to make its debut on 17th March. Ahead of the reveal, the Korean carmaker has shared a glimpse of the side profile and the interior of the new gen Elantra.
The D-segment sedan is following the latest design DNA of Hyundai and looks quite premium. The headlights appear to be large in size, there are sharp cuts and creases.
It gets a coupe-like roofline just like the Honda Civic. The tail light gets sleek LED details. The alloy wheels on the side profile get diamond cut design and look futuristic.
The interior is immediately recognisable as new gen Hyundai product thanks to the new steering wheel design. There is a VW inspired dashboard with horizontal blade design. The touchscreen infotainment system merges with the all-digital instrument cluster.
We can expect Hyundai to offer some cool tech with the latest gen Hyundai. New petrol and plug-in hybrid engine options will be announced for the new Elantra. The list of features and specs will be revealed on 17th March.
The South Korean carmaker is likely to introduce the new gen Elantra for India next year if not later this year. The Elantra will compete directly with the Honda Civic and Skoda Octavia in the Indian market.
