Toyota’s version of the Vitara Brezza to launch in April
We all know about Toyota and Suzuki’s collaboration to share technology and cars in the Indian market as well as in the international markets. Toyota Glanza is the first product to be launched in their partnership, next in line is the rebadged version of the Maruti Vitara Brezza.
Maruti has recently unveiled the facelifted Vitara Brezza at the Auto Expo 2020. The compact SUV comes with mild cosmetic changes and new LED headlights and tail lights. The diesel engine is no longer on sale since it didn’t make it to the BS6 era but now it comes with a 1.5-litre BS6 petrol engine.
Toyota is expected to introduce their version of the Vitara Brezza in April. It will be offered with the same 1.5-litre K-series 4-cylinder SHVS petrol engine producing 104.7 PS and 138 Nm of peak torque. 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission options will be offered.
The name of the Toyota’s rebadged car hasn’t been revealed yet. The styling is likely to remain more or less the same but expect a new front grille along with new badging inside out. There will be 2-3 variants on offer.
