The Hyundai Tucson facelift gets a redone interior and BS6-compliant engines.
The Hyundai Tucson was launched in India in 2016 and the SUV was then positioned between the Creta and Santa Fe. Now, Hyundai has introduced the 2020 Tucson facelift in India at the ongoing Auto Expo. Prices are expected to be released after a couple of days.
On the outside, the Hyundai Tucson facelift comes with new bumpers, new fog lamp housing, a redesigned grille and new headlamps and tail lights. It also gets a new design for the alloy wheels. While the interior layout remains similar, the Tucson now gets more equipment like a new 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, BlueLink connected car features and adaptive cruise control.
The 2020 Hyundai Tucson is offered with 2 engine options – 2.0-litre petrol and diesel and both these engines are BS6 compliant. The engines are offered with 6-speed MT or 6-speed AT options and the top variant of the SUV comes with AWD as well. The Hyundai Tucson rivals the likes of the Jeep Compass and Honda CR-V.
