The BS6 TVS Apache RR 310 gets multiple ride modes and connected technology.
The 2020 TVS Apache RR 310 with a BS6-compliant engine has been launched at Rs 2.4 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is Rs. 12,000/- over the BS4 Apache RR 310. The company’s flagship motorcycle gets a 5-year warranty and a new Titanium Black colour with race graphics.
The new TVS Apache RR 310 gets a BS6-compliant, 312.2 cc engine that produces 34 PS at 9700 RPM and 27.3 Nm at 7700 RPM. The motorcycle also features GTT+ (Glide Through Technology Plus) for a smooth and controlled urban riding. It also gets 4 riding modes – Urban, Rain, Sport and Track.
The display theme on the TFT screen also changes, according to the mode selected. In Rain and Urban mode, power and torque drops to 25.8 PS at 7600 RPM and 25Nm at 6700 RPM respectively. Top speed also falls to 125k kmph from 160 kmph.
The BS6 TVS Apache RR 310 is rich in technology features such as throttle-by-wire, that electronically connects the throttle grip to the throttle body by replacing a conventional throttle cable. It also gets a vertical 5.0-inch TFT multi-information display with Bluetooth enabled SmartXonnect.
